WATER

Water is essential and elixir for life, and most of us are aware of the importance of staying adequately hydrated. Human Cells contain 70% of Water so good health is always in requirement of good quality water. However, in our daily life, not all water is created equally good to consume everyday and people starts suffering from number of diseases taking low or bad quality water in many forms. Thus one must have good, pure, standard quality of drinking water enriched with minerals for healthy and disease free living.

BAD Quality Water & GOOD Quality Water

BAD Quality Water

Today the Cost of Medicines, Drs fees, Nursing Home / Hospital Bills are always on higher side and the Fear, Anxiety etc making us more unhealthy depriving to enjoy happy life.

One of the root cause is consuming daily bad quality, impure, chlorinated, impure, contaminated, acidic nature of Drinking Water.

We request everyone kindly check your drinking water. You all will be surprised to know the fact that the regular used Branded Mineral Water, Filtered / RO UV Water etc ALL are Acidic ( pH below 7) in nature and it is fact that knowingly or unknowingly we use to consume bad quality acidic nature water or chlorinated tap water.

The Quality of drinking water is crucial because water is essential for various bodily functions, and consuming bad quality or acidic water can lead to a range of health problems.

Beside the acidic nature of water some contaminants or impurities are found in our drinking water such as:

Microorganisms:

Bacteria, viruses, and parasites can cause waterborne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, giardiasis, and cryptosporidiosis. These microorganisms can lead to gastrointestinal issues, including diarrhea, nausea, and stomach cramps

  • Heavy Metals: Elevated levels of heavy metals like lead, mercury, and arsenic can lead to neurological, developmental, and organ damage.
  • Pesticides and Herbicides: Agricultural runoff can introduce pesticides and herbicides into water sources, potentially causing a range of health issues, including cancer and reproductive problems.
  • Industrial Chemicals: Chemicals from industrial processes may contaminate water supplies, leading to various health problems depending on the specific chemicals involved.
Inorganic Contaminants:
  • Nitrate and Nitrite: These compounds, often found in agricultural runoff and fertilizers, can pose health risks, particularly to infants, causing methemoglobinemia or “blue baby syndrome.”
  • Fluoride: While small amounts of fluoride are beneficial for dental health, excessive levels can lead to dental and skeletal fluorosis
Organic Contaminants:
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): These can come from industrial discharges, chemical spills, or improper disposal of household products. Long-term exposure to certain VOCs may increase the risk of cancer and other health problems.
Radiological Contaminants:
  • Radon: A naturally occurring radioactive gas that can dissolve into groundwater. Prolonged exposure to elevated levels of radon can increase the risk of lung cancer.

Thus in our daily use, Consuming bad quality, impure, chlorinated, contaminated, acidic nature of drinking water with these contaminants over an extended period can lead to both acute and chronic health effects.

Vulnerable populations, such as infants, pregnant women, and individuals with compromised immune systems, may be more susceptible to many kind of the adverse effects for this.

Thus it’s high time to ensure, essential access to have safe good quality healthy drinking water using various kind of water treatment methods whenever necessary.

GOOD Quality Water:

Good quality drinking water is water that meets established safety and quality standards. free from harmful contaminants and impurities. Definition of good quality healthy drinking Water must be Clear with low turbidity within TDS 300mg per Litre, ORP upto minus – 500millivolts, Neutral or Alkaline nature with pH upto 9 with free from all type of harmful contaminants, impurities and high concentrations of chlorine.

Good Quality Water beside the above recommendations, must be free from such harmful contaminants and impurities:

Microbiologically Safe: Water that is free from harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites.

Chemically Pure: Water with low levels of or no heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury, arsenic), pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals.

Low in Inorganic Contaminants: Water with acceptable levels of nitrates and Balanced Mineral Content: Water with appropriate levels of essential minerals like calcium and magnesium.

Free from Organic Contaminants: Water with low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Free from Radiological Contaminants: Water with low levels of radon.

Low Turbidity and Clear Appearance: Water that is clear and free from visible particles that Enhances palatability, encourages hydration, and reduces the risk of consuming harmful suspended particles.

What is pH?

pH of a solution is a figure expressing the acidity or alkalinity of a solution on a logarithmic scale on which 7 is neutral, lower values are more acid and higher values more alkaline. The pH is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The pH-scale is normally between 0 and 14 in Aqueous solutions.

What is ORP?

ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) is typically measured to determine the oxidizing or reducing potential of a water sample. ORP is measured in millivolts (mV). A High pH and negative ORP makes alkaline water good and health-full for your body because it nourishes your body’s fluids. Negative ORP water doesn’t contain dangerous, possibly lethal contaminants like Lead and Mercury and this is also a very big reason alkaline water is safe and healthy.
